Leading the Charge for NVMe Adoption

Faster speeds. Less power consumption. Easy scaling. Reduced latency. Toshiba Memory’s innovative flash products and software have enabled applications to take advantage of these features – and we were on hand as the platinum sponsor at the recent 2019 NVMe™ Annual Members Meeting and Developer Day to showcase just how we do it.

With the theme of Driving Simplicity with NVMe, the meeting was the ideal forum for developers from all application areas to get the latest information on specifications, products and ecosystem support. Our director of SSD industry standards, John Geldman, kicked things off by giving the platinum sponsor’s remarks at the beginning of day one. Back at the Toshiba Memory booth, our team was busy showing the latest versions of our XD5 Series of data center NVMe SSDs and KumoScale™¹ NVMe-oF™ (NVM Express™ over Fabrics) shared accelerated storage software.

We are pioneers in the development of NVMe-based SSDs and in the creation and implementation of standards for NVMe-oF architecture, hardware and software – and were excited to talk about what the future holds for our ever-expanding portfolio of NVMe solutions. We are proud to put forth hardware and software offerings that push the envelope, enhance the value proposition for NVMe, and drive adoption of the standard.

As the platinum sponsor of the Developer Day for the second year in a row, and as members of the NVM Express™, Inc. board and promoter group, Toshiba Memory is fully engaged in the development and promotion of the NVMe standard.
